ZAHRA ESMAELI DEHAGHI

Zahra Esmaeili Dehaghi is a pre-doctoral researcher at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Materials Engineering. She joined the doctoral programme in October 2024, and her research focuses on sustainable composite materials.

Her research interests include the development and characterization of composite materials, with particular attention to sustainability, recycling, fibres and durability. Her previous research has focused on the development of NiCrAlY-based nanocomposites, studying their preparation, microstructure and mechanical and wear properties.

Zahra holds a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from Malek Ashtar University of Technology, Esfahan, Iran. During her master's studies, she investigated the preparation of agglomerated nanopowders, their sintering process and the properties of NiCrAlY–nanoSi3N4–graphite nanocomposites. She previously obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomaterial Engineering from Payame Noor University of Esfahan, Iran.

Her research work has resulted in publications in international scientific journals, including Journal of Alloys and Compounds and Advances in Materials and Processing Technologies.
