Xinlong He

Xinlong He is a second-year pre-doctoral researcher at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. His doctoral research focuses on solid waste recycling and the development of green water treatment facilities. By analyzing solid waste materials, he explores their potential applications in the environmental field, particularly in water treatment. His study also investigates the integration of solid waste in sustainable water treatment infrastructures, including constructed wetlands, floating treatment wetlands, and green roofs/walls.

Previously, Xinlong worked as a researcher at Chang'an University in China, where he specialized in converting drinking water treatment plant sludge into innovative lightweight sponge materials. His research centered on examining the physiochemical characteristics and pollutant adsorption capabilities of these novel materials obtained from solid waste.

In terms of academic background, Xinlong earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering at Tianjin Chengjian University (China, Tianjin) in June 2020, majoring in Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering. In July 2023, he obtained his Master's degree in Engineering from the School of Civil Engineering at Chang'an University (China, Xi'an), majoring in Municipal Engineering.
